The Law Offices of Albert Goodwin is pleased to be offering a $500 annual scholarship to a student who demonstrates commitment to law and education. We are currently accepting applications for the 2016-2017 school year.
To be considered for this merit-based scholarship, the applicant must follow the application process to demonstrate their academic and literary ability.
The Essay
The 2016 essay topic is: How Lawyers Improve Our Society.
The length of the essay should be around 500 words.

Entries must be received by the end of 2016. Scholarship is allocated on a first come-first serve basis.
Eligibility
To be eligible for The Albert Goodwin, Esq. Scholarship, applicant must:
Be a United States citizen or Permanent Resident
Be accepted to or currently enrolled in an accredited college, university or graduate program within the United States
Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
Attend a school in the State of New York or Florida in the 2016-2017 school year.
Disbursement
Scholarship funds will be disbursed directly to the student’s school.
Terms and Conditions
One scholarship per year. Offered to a student who attends a school in the State of New York or Florida, the states where we have offices. One year per application. A student must reapply if they wish to be considered for next year’s scholarship. Plagiarism is subject to reporting to the student’s educational institution. The law firm will select the student who qualifies for the scholarship.
